Registration Fees
The registration fee for the Spring 2012 season for U4-U12 (non-traveling rec) is $75.00. There will be a sibling discount of $15 for each additional family member in the U4-U12 non-traveling rec program. The registration fee for U12-U19 traveling rec is $75. There is no sibling discount in the traveling rec program. The increased cost of the traveling rec program is to help defray the additional referee costs incurred with the implementation of the off-sides rule and the additional linesmen necessary for each game. The Coaches discount has been increased from $20 to $35 beginning with the Spring 2012 season. There will be an additional $20.00 late registration fee (for registrations after 8pm on February 1, 2012). On-line registration are accepted by Credit Card or Debit Card.

Scholarships
A limited number of 50% financial scholarships are available to those in need or experiencing undo hardship. You must register on time and submit a scholarship request. Get the application for scholarship at in-person sign-ups only. Scholarship recipients will be expected to participate in the chosen fundraiser for that season as well as attend the vast majority of team practices and games. Those not fulfilling their scholarship obligations will not be considered for future scholarships.
Drops / Refunds
Players may drop before the registration deadline and receive a full refund. There are no refunds after the registration deadline which is February 1st for Spring 2012 season. Players who quit showing up for practices and games may be dropped by NSC. We will contact you in advance based on your contact information (if we are not able to leave a message or if you do not return messages, the player will be dropped).
Late Registrations
Players registering late will be placed on a waiting list after payment is received. Based on roster availability, players will be drawn from the waiting list in the order in which payment is received. If a registrant is not able to be placed on a roster, they will be notified and issued a prompt refund.
Expenses
Your recreational registration fees pay for the following expenses (certain age levels may have more or fewer expenses in specific areas):
field maintenance (mowing, trimming, marking lines, trash pickup, and moving goals)
- referee and assignor fees
- NYSA field use fees
- per player FCSA fees and insurance
- per team FCSA fees
- equipment (game balls, nets, goals, corner flags, marking paint)
- office supplies and administration
- player and coach development and coach education (state course reimbursements)
- complex improvements (supplemental to donations)
- awards (participation medals)
- website maintenance, credit card receipt fees and gotsport.com fees
- signs, mailings, Thursday folders
